Adler- und Wolfspark Kasselburg
Pelm
High above the Eifel river Kyll and on a vertically towering massif of dolomite rock and basalt, the Kasselburg is enthroned. It is unmistakable due to an imposing double-dwelling tower, which makes the castle from the 12th century widely visible as the hallmark of the Gerolstein Land. The well-preserved ruin not only makes the hearts of medieval fans, big and small, it also harbors an exciting secret. It is home to the Kasselburg Eagle and Wolf Park with many majestic birds of prey that show their aerial acrobatics in air shows, and the largest half-wild wolf pack in Western Europe on ten hectares of forest and rocky terrain.
During the daily feeding you get close to the impressive animals and learn exciting things about their way of life from expert mouths. Wild boars, sheep and goats are also particularly exciting for children.
The park is open all year round and offers seasonal events such as knight games, Christmas market, wolf nights and falconer days. With restaurant, playground, petting zoo and partly barrier-free paths, the park is family-friendly.
Dogs are not allowed in the park; for them, spacious, fenced pitches are available in the entrance area for a fee of €3 (plus €7 deposit).
Tickets can be purchased directly at our ticket office. No reservation is required.
