Shortly after entering the town of Kerschenbach, there is a leisure area with a refuge on the left side (coming from Stadtkyll), resting place and overview map of the Naturpark Nordeifel. Hikers can inform themselves about the German-Belgian nature park Hohes Venn-Eifel, enjoy a picnic and enjoy the Eifel landscape on the sun lounger.
On the initiative of the Naturpark Nordeifel e.V., the local community Kerschenbach, the tourist information AktivLand Eifel and with the financial help of the company RWE, Kerschenbach has a place to go for guests and locals.
