Checklist for holidays with a dog

Is your dog your most loyal companion? Then your four-legged family member can also accompany you on a well-deserved holiday. So that you can start your holiday with your dog relaxed, there are a few things you should bear in mind.

In the following, we have summarised the most important preparations for your holiday with a dog within a checklist.

Please note: As the needs of the respective dog and its owner are very individual, we cannot guarantee completeness.

Transport / arrival and departure
  • Transport box, basket
  • Leash (if necessary, drag line)
  • Food and water bowl (also for on the way)
  • Dog blanket / dog travel bed
  • "Walking set" with sufficient excrement bags
Health & safety
  • First aid kit
  • Tick protection & tick tongs
  • Flea protection
  • Medicines if required
  • Pet passport
  • Liability insurance certificate
Food
  • Sufficient food (also for arrival and departure)
  • Spoon / fork for food distribution
  • Treats
  • Chewing articles (bones)
Toys
  • things that keep the dog occupied
  • Ball
  • water toys if necessary

 

Vaccinations up to date and complete? Very important: Rabies vaccination!
