Discover the mysterious magic of Felix Scharstein's art machines. For over 25 years, the trained precision mechanic has designed and built machines and exhibits for museums, and now he is showcasing a selection of "free machines": Mechanical signals, originally known from the railway environment, can be operated and brought to life here.

What place would be better suited than the historic waiting hall of the museum station?

Admission is free and some art signals can also be operated under supervision.

Exact opening hours of the exhibition will be announced soon.

The Museum Station Ahütte becomes the setting for the crime role-playing game "A Robbery on the Legendary Night Express?" A 3-course menu will be served along with plenty of fun, excitement, and entertainment. Participants will receive role cards in advance and will take on the personas of famous travelers of that night train to solve a crime or even commit one themselves? Participation fee 79.00 € including 3-course dinner and plus drinks. In addition, the current situation after the severe damages from the 2021 flood will be explained and possibilities for the preservation of the route will be discussed.
