Exhibition of photographic exhibits from the exhibition "Finsterlay - a journey into the interior of the lava flow" in our historic waiting hall at the museum railway station: "Finsterlay is the name of an imaginary place in a real world. According to photographers Marc Hillesheim and Olaf Kaul, it symbolises mystical power. For the darkness, the cold of the night in the basalt pits and the eternal darkness in the lava cellars, where centuries ago our ancestors dug their way through the interior of the lava flow. But Finsterlay is also an invitation to see this landscape with different eyes."
