The parking lot near the tennis courts Kerpen is the starting point of the approximately 11 km long circular hike that takes us past Kerpen Castle and the grave of the Eifel painter Fritz von Wille. We continue through an open meadow landscape. Along the Nollenbach and over a disused railway line, we hike to Niederehe. There, a steep climb begins through the NSG Hönselberg. The nature and wonderful views make up for the sweaty ascent. We continue via Loogh towards Kerpen. In the final section, we can admire the deep blue fringed gentian.
