The local circular hiking trail will be redesigned in parts. It initially leads towards Walsdorf and through the picturesque dry maar, directly into the Arensberg volcano, an impressive tertiary volcanic dome. The path offers fascinating geological insights and beautiful landscapes. The return journey takes place through the expansive Walsdorf fields back to Hillesheim, where a relaxing final break is planned. The hike is perfect for nature lovers and offers a unique opportunity to experience the volcanic history of the region up close.
