Erntedankfest Rockeskyll

The traditional harvest festival in Rockeskyll is celebrated with a varied programme. On Saturday, 21 September from 7:30 pm, dancing with "The Hurricanes" in the large marquee ensures a great atmosphere and a good mood. Havest-Sunday, 22 September, traditionally begins at 11 am with a festive service in St. Bartholomew's Church in Rockeskyll, where the harvest offerings are blessed. The farmers' and crafts market can then be visited from 2 pm. Musical entertainment will be provided by the music societies from Steffeln and Walsdorf-Zilsdorf.

Stories of the struggle of the elements and from the life of the people with Johannes Munkler Gerolsteiner "Verzeelschestour", True to the motto "et jit net jerannt" we have filled our backpack with lots of time (3-4hours for about 6km and 150 meters of altitude) as well as entertaining stories and poems along the Celtic Trail. Recommendation: Rucksack catering, no refreshments possible on the way.
