Mit dem Oldtimer-Bus zu den "Kraftorten" der Eifel (Leitung R. Brühl)

Three-hour bus tour in a vintage 1950s bus from the museum station led by the author Regine Brühl, on the way to the "power places" of the Eifel. To find these, Regine Brühl spent a decade traveling through the entire Eifel with her camera, visiting the places where people have always gone to find something wonderful that enlightens body, soul, and spirit. Fare €49.00 per person.Participation is only by prior registration. After returning, there is an opportunity to dine in the station gastronomy and to subsequently participate in the book presentation "Power Places" by the author (not included in the fare). The two story makers Stephan Falk and Jeannette Fentroß take you on a journey to the celestial bodies of the star garden in Mechernich, to a talented artist in Sankt Vith or to the alchemy of the Prüm monks. Who knows the Eifel legends of the Schmette Bärbel and the fearless Kätt or has already encountered the Ulmener Maar witches? What does a village street have to do with potatoes? An underground secret in the village of Embken comes to light and even as a household liquidator, you can experience a lot in the Eifel... Hocheifelweg 3. Etappe Hillesehim - Niederehe mit dem Eifelverein Gerolstein

We explore the 3rd stage from Hillesheim to Niederehe. The 11 km long tour is considered easy. We start in Hillesheim and reach the Schwedenschanze. After a short break, we continue through Berndorf and Kerpen to Niederehe. A visit to the monastery church is worthwhile before we conclude the hiking day with a rest. The ride to/from Gerolstein costs 3 € per person. There are places that bring silence, grant you peace, bring clarity, connect people, center you, allow the visitor to rise above the things, awaken courage, inspire enthusiasm, stimulate intuition and creativity, bring into flow, awaken from lethargy, put into a sort of state of suspension, have a grounding effect, lead us to our roots, provide security... Discovering, visiting, and experiencing these places, letting them affect you, and finding your own power spot is the theme of the book "Power Spots Eifel" by Regine Brühl, which will be published in 2025. The author will present it in the historic waiting room of the museum train station. Admission 15.00 €. Participation by pre-registration only.
