After three long years, the Mozart Weeks Eifel are finally making a guest appearance again in the fantastically beautiful Protestant Church of the Redeemer in Gerolsteiner. On Friday, November 15 at 7:00 pm, the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra Pforzheim will perform under the direction of its first, long-standing guest conductor Georg Mais together with soloist Wen-Sinn Yang, violoncello. The versatile ensemble, consisting of fourteen musicians from seven nations, is one of the very few “full-time” chamber orchestras in Europe, and the varied program of this eagerly awaited concert with one of the best chamber orchestras in Germany includes masterpieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn and Peter Tchaikovsky. Uniform-Modenschau am 16.11.2024 im Eisenbahnmuseum Jünkerath

On November 16, a railroad uniform fashion show will take place at the Jünkerath Railway Museum on two consecutive dates (at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.). Uniforms from around 100 years of German railroad history will be on display. Fifteen performers under the direction of Stefan Ingenfeld will take visitors on a journey through the different eras of German railroad history in various scenes with contemporary music and clothing. Interesting information and pictures of each era round off the event.
