On November 16, a railroad uniform fashion show will take place at the Jünkerath Railway Museum on two consecutive dates (at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.). Uniforms from around 100 years of German railroad history will be on display. Fifteen performers under the direction of Stefan Ingenfeld will take visitors on a journey through the different eras of German railroad history in various scenes with contemporary music and clothing. Interesting information and pictures of each era round off the event.

Price: Admission is EUR 6 per person

Erinnerung an die Eisenbahn zwischen Eifel und Venn

In October 2004, the last special trips took place in the direction of the German border, where the track between Jünkerath and Losheim was being dismantled at the same time. An occasion for an evening of shared memories of the time when trains still travelled between the Venn and the Eifel. In conjunction with a joint dinner (€ 25.00 per person plus drinks). Ausstellung "Finsterlay - eine Reise in das Innere des Lavastromes"

Exhibition "Finsterlay" - The photographers Marc Hillesheim and Olaf Kaul in the Eifel millstone district. Finsterlay is the name of an imaginary place in a real world. It stands for mystical power. For the darkness, the cold of the night in the basalt pits and the eternal darkness in the lava cellars. But Finsterlay is also an invitation to see this landscape with different eyes.
