Summer cycling tour on the Kalkeifel Cycle Path

Highlights on the cycle tour from Bolsdorf to Ahrdorf are the European model town of Hillesheim, Kerpen Castle, Niederehe Monastery and the refreshing and "growing" Dreimühlen waterfall. The route is mainly on old railway tracks. The wheels roll all by themselves.

Cool ice and millstone caves

If you are looking for cooling off on hot summer days, this is the place to be! In Gerolsteiner Land you will find several ice-cold caves where the temperature does not rise above 7 degrees even in hot summers. A break from sweating is guaranteed here!

The growing waterfall "Dreimühlen

The Dreimühlen waterfall is probably the most interesting waterfall in the Eifel. It was formed from limestone deposits of three spring tributaries of the Ahbach. Due to the constant deposition, the sinter bank is constantly "growing", which is where the name "growing waterfall" comes from.
